The Adult Learning Centre offers services that help individuals to increase their literacy skills - from basic to specific areas of need. More specifically, individuals learn or upgrade skills for success in their academic goals, employment goals and integration goals.
There are 3 literacy population focuses: Adult, English as a Second Language (ESL) and Seniors. The current services offered are as follows:

In a comfortable, inviting and friendly environment, The Adult Learning Centre provides a wide range of free services for adult learners in the Comox Valley. We offer tutoring services that you might require as you take a proactive approach to your lifelong learning.
This includes:
basic reading, writing and math, ESL and workplace essential skills to assist you based on your current requirements and interests.
Our staff looks forward to working with each of you as you seek new skills for our changing times.
Learners are matched with trained volunteers, based on the learners needs and circumstances, and flexible scheduling allows pairs to meet when it is convenient for both.
