The History of the Adult Learning Centre
The Adult Learning Centre is an organization providing learning supports to the Comox Valley since 1993, inviting and supporting individuals looking for extra assistance to gain new skills.
The Adult Learning Centre is an organization of the Community Adult Literacy and Learning Society.
Community Adult Learning and Literacy Society, (C.A.L.L.S), was formed as a non-profit society in 1993 to improve the literacy levels in the Comox Valley.
C.A.L.L.S actively promotes community awareness of local literacy needs and encourages support for literacy initiatives.
Programs and services are supported by the BC Ministry of Advanced Education, Valley Bingo Palace Affiliation Funds, Coastal Community Credit Union and donations from individuals and service organizations.
