Leslie Corra
Leslie is the Tutor-Coordinator of the ESL Settlement Assistance Program. She has a degree in Education and a post-graduate diploma in English as a Second Language (ESL) teaching. Her passion is teaching and developing learning resources and programs, and has worked with both adults and children, within mainstream and special needs classrooms, in addition to one-to-one and class situations teaching ESL learners. Past work includes fulfilling years as Literacy Tutor-Coordinator at the Adult Learning Centre. In her new role, she is constantly reminded of how brave, resilient, and amazing people are to move to a completely different country and start lives afresh.

Gabriel Dey

Gabriel joined the Adult Learning Centre in the fall of 2008 as Tutor-Coordinator of the Adult Literacy Program and is excited for the opportunity to contribute to this vital component of a healthy community. She holds a degree in Creative Writing and Liberal Studies, and has a background in fine arts, writing, publishing, and oral history documentation. Gabriel has volunteered in a variety of capacities, and is committed to lifelong learning.
